BOY SCOUT TROOP 132 Arlington Heights, Illinois
Troop 132 is proudly sponsored by the First United Methodist Church in Arlington Heights, Illinois. We welcome all young men with a desire to challenge themselves in a "fun based" environment. The troop meets most Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM. The scouts develop and execute their own program with parent support and participation. The Patrol Leaders Council consists Patrol Leaders from each patrol. This group meets monthly with the Scoutmaster to plan troop meetings and activities.
The troop has a year round program with an outing planned for every month of the year. We participate in district Camporees and the National Jamboree and have planned high adventure camps in Philmont, New Mexico, Sea Base in Florida, and Northern Tier in Minnesota. The troop's summer program is at Camp Napowan run by the Northwest Suburban Council. The summer camp is a great place to work on rank advancement, merit badges, and have fun. We look forward to you joining us in ADVENTURE!
